About Our Assessment Services
At Level Up Psychology, our psychological assessment services offer an expansive, in-depth understanding of a child, adolescent, or adult's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Our assessments are designed to identify and diagnose a range of concerns, from autism and learning difficulties (like dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia), to intellectual disability and ADHD.
Beyond these specific diagnoses, we also conduct assessments related to general learning difficulties, mood or anxiety problems, social skills, and behavioural challenges. Our team of psychologists employs a wide array of scientifically validated tools to capture these diverse facets of psychological health, providing a holistic understanding of the individual's psychological landscape.
Assessments can also be conducted that meet the requirements of VCAA Special Examinations Arrangements applications, Program for Students with Disabilities, Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the Centrelink Disability Support Pension.
The duration and frequency of our assessment sessions are tailored to the individual's needs and the specific type of assessment being conducted. Factors related to the individual undergoing the assessment, such as their age, the nature of their concerns, and their comfort level, are all taken into account when determining the length and number of assessment sessions.
At the conclusion of every assessment process, we provide comprehensive reports or letters at no additional cost. These reports detail the findings of the assessment, along with recommendations for therapeutic interventions if needed. All questionnaires used during the assessment are also included free of charge.
Our psychological assessments at Level Up Psychology are rooted in compassion and professionalism. We strive to empower our clients with knowledge and understanding of their unique psychological profile, paving the way for effective, personalized support and intervention.
All psychological assessments include an intake and feedback session.
