With over a decade of experience working in private, public, and Catholic schools across Victoria, our Director Dr. Jake Kraska has a strong understanding of the unique challenges that schools face.
The Level Up Psychology team are experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. We have over 20 clinicians with a variety of expertise and experiences that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each school community.
On-Site Counselling (Locum Services)
We provide schools with high-quality on-site counselling services delivered by our psychologists, provisional psychologists, and counsellors — at no cost to parents. Our reception team works with families to ensure services are provided promptly and in line with our agreement. All appointments are managed by our team.
Group Programs
We offer a range of evidence-based group programs that can be delivered in your school. Programs are facilitated by our experienced clinicians in small-group settings.
Healthy Masculinity Program
An 8-session series for 10–15 students that redefines strength and courage in a supportive, small group approach — challenging stereotypes and building resilience.
Cool Kids Anxiety Program
An internationally acclaimed, accredited 10-session program that reduces childhood anxiety, with 60–75% of participants seeing significant improvement.
Intentional Gaming
A program that helps students develop a healthier relationship with gaming and technology, building awareness and self-regulation skills.
Mindfulness Program
A 10-session program for 6–12 students aged 8–16, offering a step-by-step journey into mindfulness with practical skills they can apply in everyday life.
Social Skills Program
Designed for 6–10 students, this comprehensive program focuses on key aspects of social skills, helping students build strong, healthy relationships with peers and adults.
P2P Pride Support Group
A semi-structured, 8-session peer support group for 8–16 LGBTQIA+ young people aged 12–18. Students share stories, make friends, access peer support, build resilience, and foster community within your school.
Safe & Sound: Healthy Relationships for Neurodiverse Teens
A tailored program supporting neurodiverse teenagers in building and maintaining healthy relationships.
Mental Health Literacy Program
Equip students with a foundational understanding of mental health, helping them recognise signs of difficulty in themselves and others and know where to seek help.
Tuning Into Teens
A psychologist-led, 4-session online parenting program for groups of 4–8 parents. Covers evidence-based strategies in communication, behaviour management, and child development to strengthen parent–child relationships and foster student wellbeing.
Assessments
Our psychologists can conduct a range of assessments within your school, supporting individual education plans, funding applications, and targeted interventions.
Cognitive Screening Program
Uses the Woodcock-Johnson IV to assess students' cognitive abilities including problem-solving, processing speed, and memory. Administered by provisional psychologists for groups of 20 students, helping identify those who may benefit from further assessment.
Specific Learning Disorder Assessment
A comprehensive package including all necessary tests to diagnose a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) in areas such as reading, writing, or mathematics. Results can inform classroom strategies, IEPs, and funding applications.
Autism Assessment
A comprehensive assessment to determine whether a student meets the criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including cognitive, behavioural, and adaptive functioning assessments to provide a detailed profile of strengths and challenges.
ADHD Assessment
A thorough assessment to help identify Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and support appropriate classroom strategies and interventions.
Out of Home Care Educational Needs Assessment
Assessments tailored for students in out-of-home care to evaluate their educational needs and inform support plans.
Adaptive Functioning Assessment
